Indonesia's palm oil exports from the world's largest palm oil exporter are expected to resume in April after March and February exports were lower than the monthly average of the past year, the Indonesian trade ministry said on Monday. Indonesia exported 1.30 million tonnes of palm oil in February and about 885,000 tonnes from March 1-27; below the monthly average of 1.97 million tonnes over the past year, trade ministry data showed. "The situation is expected to improve in April and May, which we hope will increase the fulfillment of domestic market obligations," said Bambang Wisnubroto, an economy ministry official. "Exporters expect global demand for edible oils to improve in May and June."
