CME Group plans to launch spot quote futures on June 30, covering bitcoin, ethereum, and four major U.S. stock indexes

Derivatives marketplace CME Group announced plans to launch spot quoted futures on June 30, subject to regulatory review. Spot quoted futures will allow investors to trade futures positions at cash market prices (i.e. quotes on financial media and investment websites). Two cryptocurrencies (bitcoin and ether) and the four major U.S. stock indices (including the S & P 500 Index, the Nasdaq 100 Index, the Russell 2000 Index and the Dow Jones Industries Average Index) will offer contracts. It is reported that investors will be able to hold these contracts for up to five years without rollovers.
