CME Group plans to use Google Cloud to test digital asset infrastructure to simplify settlement and clearing

CME Group is exploring tokenization in partnership with Google Cloud, which aims to improve the efficiency of capital markets through asset tokenization using Google Cloud Universal Ledger. The two companies plan to begin direct testing with market participants later this year and plan to launch new services in 2026.
