Lawyers for rapper Heather "Razzlekhan" Morgan have issued cease-and-desist letters to Netflix and its documentary production company Library Films, accusing her documentary "Biggest Heist Ever" of violating privacy and spreading misinformation.
According to the lawyer, the documentary filmed her wedding guests without consent, violating California privacy laws, and demanded that the footage be removed immediately. In addition, the lawyer pointed out that the allegations in the documentary about Morgan and her husband purchasing black market identity documents are baseless and suspected of defamation. The letter also mentioned that the documentary falsely described Morgan's father-in-law as a hacker. The lawyer warned that Morgan would take legal action to protect his rights if he did not comply with the requirements. As of now, Netflix has not responded to this.
Previously, it was reported that Heather Morgan, a money laundering accessory in the Bitfinex hack, was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
