The majority of those who said they had bought Meme said they saw good "growth potential", with 23 per cent of token buyers saying they were attracted by the "cultural or ironic aspects" of Meme.
Six per cent of respondents were attracted by Meme's active community and "fan base". In addition, a quarter of respondents saw the issuance of Meme as an "effective marketing move". However, nearly half of respondents saw Meme as a "temporary phenomenon" and a social media trend.
