Informed sources: The United States plans to blacklist Bitmain-linked AI company Sophgo

According to a person familiar with the matter, the Biden administration plans to add Bitmain-linked artificial intelligence company Sophgo to the U.S. Commerce Department's restricted trade list because the company's TSMC-made chips were illegally incorporated into Huawei's artificial intelligence processors.
