HKEx CEO Chen Yiting: We are working with the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges to promote the inclusion of the Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect in REITs and the introduction of a block trading mechanism

On November 26th, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange held the second HKEX China Talk in Shanghai. Chen Yiting, CEO of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Group, said that it is currently working closely with the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges on the inclusion of REITs in the Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, the introduction of the block trading mechanism and the inclusion of RMB counters in the Hong Kong Stock Connect trading. It is hoped that it can be implemented as soon as possible to provide more investment options and convenience for domestic and foreign investors.
