On November 13th, Eastern Time on November 12th, compensation consultant Johnson Associates released a new report showing that Wall Street bonuses are expected to rise generally this year, marking the first overall increase since 2021. The expected increase covers investment bankers, traders, and professionals in asset management and wealth management, who are expected to see double-digit increases in year-end bonuses, especially for bankers who help companies with debt sales. Bonuses are expected to increase significantly, up to 35%. This is due to increased trading activity and a rebound in capital markets.
