U.S. stocks close: Three major stock indexes hit record highs, Tesla rose nearly 15%

On November 7, the first trading day of the US Presidential Election, the Dow index initially closed up 3.6%, the S & P 500 index rose 2.5%, and the Nasdaq index rose 2.9%, all hitting record highs. NVIDIA (NVDA. O) rose 3% to a new high, Tesla (TSLA. O) rose 14.75%, and Trump Media Technology Group (DJT. O) rose 6%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 1.8%, Alibaba (BABA. N) fell 2.5%, and NIO (NIO. N) fell more than 5%.
